Tata Motors has quietly added a new lower-spec trim to the Altroz ​​variant line-up in India. The new XE+ trim, which is positioned above the entry-level XE variant, is priced at ₹ 6.35 lakh for the petrol option and ₹ 7.55 lakh for the diesel model (both ex-showroom, Delhi). The new variant was added to the list earlier this week itself and is ₹ 50,000 more expensive than the base trim XE. With the addition of the new variant, the Altroz ​​now comes in a total of 7 variants, both in petrol diesel engine options, in addition to the Dark and iTurbo trims of the premium hatchback.

For that extra premium over the XE trim of the Tata Altroz, the new XE+ variant gets a bunch of extra features

New Bye altroz The XE+ variant is quite similar to the XE variant, however, you get a bunch of extra features for the extra premium. The list includes – 4 speakers with a USB fast charger, a new 3.5-inch infotainment display with FM/AM, Bluetooth, and aux-in connectivity. The new variant also gets remote keyless entry, auto-folding mirrors with manual adjusters, electric temperature control instead of manual AC and follow me home and find my car functions. Rest of the features remain the same as the base XE trim.

Engine options for the Altroz ​​XE+ variant include 1.2-litre Revotron petrol and 1.5-litre Revotorq diesel motors. The former is tuned to make 85 bhp and 113 Nm of peak torque, while the oil burner develops 89 bhp and 200 Nm of peak torque. Both the engines come mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox as standard.
