The teaser video hints at a roofline-like coupe, which suggests that it could be the Nexon Coupe EV.
The electric SUV sports a sharp design language and will be unveiled on 6 April
Tata Motors has released a brand new teaser video of its upcoming EV concept. The EV was teased earlier, but not much was clear in the teaser. The automaker later confirmed that the concept was indeed an SUV, ruling out the possibility of unveiling the much-awaited Altroz EV. This still left out the possibilities of the Punch EV, an extended range version of the Nexon EV or the Sierra EV, but the latest teaser video points to something different.

The design elements at the back of the C pillar look really sharp and aggressive
The debut also comes on the back of the brand’s highest annual sales ever, and the company sold 19,106 EVs in the past year – the most of any carmaker in India – of its accessible models – the Nexon EV and Tigor EV. Because of success. ,
Light elements also display sharp lines
The teaser video of the upcoming electric-SUV concept shows off sharp lines and design elements like the front fog light structure, the rear of the C pillar and even the headlights throughout the car, giving it an aggressive appeal. These elements make the EV look like the car of the future, rather than being an electrified version of something currently on sale.
The tail end of the SUV gives it a coupe SUV style look
However, one of the more interesting details was the previous spoiler, or what lies beneath. The rear windscreen appears to be at a fairly steep angle to the rear spoiler, showing a coupe-like roof line on the electric SUV. The details suggest that the upcoming EV could very well be the Nexon Coupe EV, but we’ll have to wait until its debut on April 6, 2022, to know for sure.
The EV also gets some tasteful roof rails under the coupe style roof line, and the SUV also gets wheel covers to reduce drag and increase range, just like many other EVs on sale globally.
The electric SUV will have wheel covers that reduce drag and increase range
0 notes
While little is known about the electric SUV, it could be a model that sits atop the Nexon and marks the flagship EV product from Tata Motors. The coupe SUV may be smaller in dimensions than the Tata Sierra EV concept, but the Nexon EV will have a bigger battery pack than the one on sale. This larger battery pack could also make its way to compact SUVs, as Tata plans to introduce an extended range variant of the Nexon EV. Once the concept kicks off, the EV could go up against the likes of the facelifted MG ZS EV, and the older Hyundai Kona EV in the Indian market.
