Tata Motors today announced that it has registered a growth of 36% in total sales in August 2022. Last month, Tata Motors sales stood at 78,843 units as against 57,995 units in the same period last year.
The company’s total domestic sales stood at 76,479 units in August 2022 as against 54,190 units in August 2021.

In August 2022, the domestic sales of MH and ICV which includes trucks and buses stood at 12,069 units as against 8,962 units in the same month last year. Domestic and international MH&ICV sales including trucks and buses stood at 12,846 units as compared to 10,593 units in August last year.
In domestic passenger vehicle sales, Tata Motors’ ICE vehicles registered a 60% year-on-year growth with 43,321 units as compared to 26,996 units sold in August 2021. As reported, Tata Harrier, Safari and Nexon accounted for the sales growth in August 2022.
Tata Motors EV reported sales of 3,845 units in August 2022 and witnessed a growth of 276 per cent as compared to 1,022 units sold in the same period last year.
