Some of the dealers we spoke to also told us that the mini SUV will go on sale in the coming weeks, and the price will start around ₹5.5 lakh (ex-showroom). We reached out to the company to get a confirmation on booking, however, at the time of publishing this story, our email remained unanswered.

The cabin of Punch comes with a minimalistic dashboard with dual-tone black and white paint scheme. It also gets body colored bezels along with horizontal air-con vents. The Harman-sourced touchscreen infotainment system will also be equipped on the punch which looks similar to what it is altroz and Nexon. The infotainment system will be compatible with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. A few of the dealers we spoke to confirmed that the top-spec model will get the brand’s iRA connected car technology.

The mechanical details of the punch are yet to be revealed. However, we expect the micro SUV to get a 1.2-litre Revotron petrol engine, which also powers the Altroz premium hatchback. The petrol mill is set to make 85 bhp and 113 Nm of power figures. Transmission options will include a 5-speed manual as standard along with an optional AMT unit.
