“The RT-PCR test of batsman Ruturaj Gaikwad conducted on Tuesday (February 1) has given a positive result. He had tested negative during the first round of testing on Monday,” it said.

“The RT-PCR tests conducted on Wednesday (February 2) of batsman Shreyas Iyer and sports massage therapist Rajeev Kumar have yielded positive results. Both had tested negative in the first two rounds of testing.”

The BCCI said that the players who tested positive for Kovid will remain in isolation till they make complete recovery.
