Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao will meet the Chief Minister of Bihar during his visit to Bihar on 31 August. The two chief ministers will discuss the strategy on national politics for the Lok Sabha elections 2024.
In addition, KCR will also provide financial assistance to the families of Indian soldiers killed in action in the Galwan Valley.
“As part of that, the Chief Minister will leave for Patna from Hyderabad on Wednesday morning. As announced earlier, financial assistance will be given to the families of Indian soldiers martyred in the Galwan Valley,” the official statement said.

According to the official announcement, financial assistance will be provided to the families of 19 soldiers killed in the Galwan Valley conflict in 2020. Earlier, Col Santosh Babu, a native of Telangana, who died in the same incident, was assisted by the government.
Along with the military families, KCR will also assist the families of workers from Bihar who lost their lives in the fire accident in Telangana. The CM of Telangana, along with the CM of Bihar, will distribute the checks to the family members on that day. Twelve people from Bihar died in a horrific accident that caught fire in a wooden godown in Secunderabad, Telangana.

In order to provide assistance to the family, the Telangana government had announced all necessary assistance to the families of the deceased. has also announced to provide 5 lakh to the families of the dead, while the Bihar government announced 2 lakhs. It is worth mentioning that Prime Minister Narendra Modi had also announced to give ex-gratia amount. 2-2 lakh to 11 laborers who lost their lives in the accident.
KCR’s field visit could prove to be a game changer as the politics in the state had already changed after Nitish Kumar quit the NDA to form an alliance with the NDA and the Congress to form a ‘Mahagathbandhan government’ in Bihar.
The statement also said that the two chief ministers will discuss national politics on the occasion, according to ANI.
This is not the first time that KCR is meeting someone from the newly formed Bihar government, as he also held talks with Rashtriya Janata Dal leader and Bihar Deputy Chief Minister Tejashwi Yadav during his visit to Hyderabad.
A month ago, Nitish Kumar managed to change the entire landscape of Bihar politics when his grand alliance government won a trust vote in the assembly.
Nitish Kumar had staked claim to form the government with the RJD earlier this month after he walked out of the BJP alliance. To do this, he formed a party with the RJD and other parties. The former Chief Minister took oath with a new alliance on 10 August along with Deputy Chief Minister RJD Tejashwi Yadav.
The Bihar Mahagathbandhan, which had a combined strength of 163, managed to increase its effective combined strength to 164 after independent MLA Sumit Kumar Singh backed Nitish Kumar.
