Here are the major news developments in Telangana to watch for today

• Police raided a pub in large numbers late in the night and arrested its owner and 150 visitors as the premises were kept open beyond the permitted hours. Those arrested include the winner of the third season of the Bigg Boss Telugu reality show.

• Food Corporation of India closed its purchase Custom milled rice in the state for 2020-21 on the night of March 31, despite repeated requests by the state government to extend the deadline by two months.

• The government has released one month health calendar for hospitals, doctors and para-medical staff to be implemented from this month. Thereafter, the department’s review, report and advice will be based on the achievement of the targets set in the calendar.
