A man committed suicide after killing his wife in Rangareddy district of Telangana. The police gave this information on Saturday.

A senior police officer said a case has been registered under relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code and investigation has been initiated.
Assistant Commissioner of Police Narasingi Ramana said, “A man killed his wife and later committed suicide in Narasingi police station area of Rangareddy district on Saturday. The couple had two children. Case has been registered and further details is being awaited.”
Their bodies have been shifted to a hospital and the post-mortem is being conducted, police said.
The identity of the couple is being ascertained, police said, adding that the reason behind the extreme step was not clear.
