Jennifer McDermade’s graphics glitch went massively viral.
In life, not everything goes according to plan. The same applies to live television. This year, we saw some hilarious missteps on live television. From attention-seeking dogs to playful children, TV anchors have faced a few hiccups while trying to do their job. As we prepare to say goodbye to 2021, here’s a look at some of the funniest live television blunders that happened this year. to keep track:
Global News chief meteorologist Anthony Farnell was on-air when his puppy interrupted him. Storm the Goldendoodle can be seen roaming the green screen set in a hilarious video that went viral in August.

Storm wasn’t the only mischief dog we saw this year. Russian journalist Nadezhda Serezkina was announcing the arrival of spring in Moscow when a dog intercepted her weather report and fled with a microphone in her hand.
Meanwhile, BBC journalist Carol Kirkwood was pulled over by her guide dog during a live telecast. Ms Kirkwood was holding the dog’s leash when she decided to run away. Unable to maintain his balance, the journalist was filmed falling first in front of the camera.

Fox 9 meteorologist Jennifer McDermade went massively viral in May of this year. A graphics glitch caused Ms. McDermade to multiply onscreen, giving the world a video that took millions of stitches. Watch it below:
Also in May: CNN reporter Manu Raju had an “unwanted visitor” crawl in his live shot. In the widely shared clip, the journalist is initially oblivious to the fact that the cicada was crawling her suit. He only felt it once it reached his neck.

A New Zealand cabinet minister gave us one of the most popular videos of the year. New Zealand’s Minister of Social Development Carmel Sepuloni live zoom interview With Radio Samoa when his son excitedly interrupted him by waving a carrot.
The moment you’re doing a live interview via Zoom and your son comes into the room screaming and holding a deformed carrot the size of a male body part. , Yes, we almost wrestled over carrots on camera, and yes, I’m laughing about it now but wasn’t at the time! , pic.twitter.com/oUbcpt8tSu

what’s in a name? Ask the anchor who announced the death of playwright William Shakespeare, confusing him with a man of the same name. Noelia Novillo, a newsreader on Canal 26, mourned the death of “one of the most important writers of the English language” and failed to realize her mistake on live television.
