It’s 2022 and the debate over body hair seems to be unstoppable – but Tillotama Shome isn’t one to talk big on a trivial matter. The Monsoon Wedding actress took to Instagram this morning to share a picture showing off her underarm hair. She posed for the picture in a tank top, proudly and without any regrets while raising her arms to display her so-smooth armpits. But unlike many other celebrities who have famously gone into nature, Tilottama was clear about one thing – she wasn’t trying to make a statement with the picture.
The actress wrote in the caption of her picture, “I say sorry a lot.”
“The worst is when I apologize in anticipation of someone’s apology, as if it’s a hello,” she continued.
Tillotama Shome wrote, “I’m sorry if I did something good because I could have done it better. Surely your mouth guts.” He said that his T-shirt reminds me to apologize less and mean more.
About his body hair he added almost as an afterthought—perhaps in an attempt to emphasize how non-issue it should be in this day and age. “Oh and about the body hair, yeah not sorry about that,” Tilottama wrote. In an effort to normalize body hair, she adds: “I wear it just the way I like it. It’s not a statement.
“I wax too. I don’t either. Good day!” He concluded.
Tillotama Shome’s Instagram post has garnered nearly 5,000 ‘likes’ and a ton of comments.
