The boy stuffed clothes in the McDonald’s wrap pack, there was a stir in the family

The fast-food chain has gained immense popularity over the years. We all have fond memories of going to our favorite fast-food restaurant and indulging in some delicious food. They are one of the most preferred options for those times when we want to have a quick meal or don’t have enough time to cook. Fast-food is cheap, convenient and tastes good, so we all love it. However, have you ever been in a situation where you have been disappointed with the quality of the food or service offered at your favorite fast-food chain? While they are popular for maintaining consistency, sometimes even the best restaurants fail to maintain standard quality measures. Recently, an Irish man was horrified to find his son’s McDonald’s chicken wrap pack filled with a dish cloth.

Martin Holmes, from Derry, Northern Ireland, was on his way to collect his family’s takeaway order from a McDonald’s outlet in Derry’s Waterside. After reaching home, he started giving his own orders to everyone. While doing so, he noticed that there was something wrong with his seven-year-old son’s chicken wrap. He was shocked to see a folded dish cloth in the pack and no food in sight. Speaking about the incident, the father said, “You don’t mind when you have a chunk of chips short or missing a sauce. But that’s another level. My son was sitting to my right and the minute he took it I opened it, I saw the white stuff inside and I thought, what have they wrapped in it?” According to a report in Mirror.

The family was shocked by this experience. Martin’s wife immediately decided to go back to the outlet to speak to the manager. Detailing his wife’s meeting with the manager, Holmes said, “My wife said she’s really apologetic and really sorry for that, but eventually someone in their kitchen is taking a hand.” The manager also gave free food vouchers to the family for the future. Martin continued, “We were told that the branch recently had a health inspection and received five stars, which you would expect for a big name like McDonald’s.”
