A British adventurer has launched an epic single trek from the UK to Vietnam, which covers more than 15,000 kilometers in 23 countries on foot with only two boats rides. Their inspiration is to show that common people can get remarkable things and experience adventure work of life. Luke Decine began his remarkable journey on 16 September, 2024, starting from Stratford-on-Awe. He traced through France, Luxembourg, Germany, Austria, Hungary, Serbia, Bulgaria and Greece. With Türkiye on the horizon, he estimated to spend about two months to complete this leg of his epic adventure.
After Türkiye, he would enter Georgia and Azerbaijan, then carrying a boat to Kazakhstan in the Caspian Sea. The Central Asian legs include giant deserts, limited features and hard weather conditions, which make access to requirements such as food, water and shelter rare, with important challenges.
“Walking from the UK to Vietnam-this is my whole path! 23 countries, more than 15,000 km, and all foot (with two boating crossings: from England to France and Azerbaijan from Kazakhstan) I have crossed Europe through just a cold winter, but still is the Turkey, Bear-Incracted Country. Where I have a crushing country in the first-East Asia, I have crossed the cruel+° C and South East Asia. Tiger dodging. It is going to be crazy.

After Kazakhstan, he will pass through Pakistan, Afghanistan and India, then will continue through Bangladesh, Myanmar, Thailand, Cambodia and finally Vietnam. The Grand Finale will take them from Ho Chi Minh City to Hanoi, marking the end of their incredible journey.
Reacting to his epic adventure work, a user wrote, “A strong passport and hard mind and very emotional heart.” Another comment made, “Jeez! That man avoided entering Iran! Instead, he took a sea journey!”
