business Line The Changemaker Awards 2022 will be announced in New Delhi on Friday. The Awards strive to celebrate Changemakers – people and organizations who have brought about positive change in society and made our world a better place to live. Union Minister of Finance and Corporate Affairs Nirmala Sitharaman is the chief guest and will distribute the awards. Winners. In its fourth edition, the awards will be given in six categories – Changemaker – Social Transformation; Changemaker-Digital Transformation; Changemaker—Financial Change; young changemaker; Iconic Changemaker and Changemaker of the Year.
The evening will see some interesting conversations, great music and inspiring stories from the corporate and policy-making worlds of Delhi.
Over 600 Enrollments
The award ceremony is the culmination of efforts that lasted for almost six months. It all started with the call for nominations on March 31. With over 600 nominations received during the two-month period, the enrollment window was kept open. Thereafter the nominations were scrutinized and evaluated business Line With knowledge partners – Deloitte and Ashoka. The shortlisted nominations were then independently validated by our verification partner – NITI Consulting.
Thereafter, the valid nominees are given by former TCS CEO and MD S. Sent to an independent jury headed by Ramadurai. Other jury members include R. Gopalan, former Secretary, Department of Economic Affairs; Lakshmi Narayanan, former Vice President, Cognizant; Pallavi S Shroff, Managing Partner, Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas; Kaku Nakhate, President and Country Head – India, Bank of America; Padmaja Chunduru, MD & CEO, NSDL and Daisy Chittilappilly, President, Cisco India and SAARC. The jury met in New Delhi on 3 August and the winners were selected.
The BusinessLine Changemaker Awards Ceremony is presented by Life Insurance Corporation of India and administered by State Bank of India and Sastra University.
