ITC shares will be one of the dividend paying stocks today as the company’s board of directors has fixed February 15, 2023 as the record date for finalizing the shareholders eligible for payment of interim dividend for the financial year 2022-23 . The board of the company has already declared interim dividend 6 per equity share to its eligible shareholders. payment of interim dividend of 6 per equity share to be made between March 3 and March 5, 2023.
ITC Limited informed Indian Share Market Regarding the interim dividend payment, the exchanges said, “The Board of Directors of the company at its meeting held today i.e. February 3, 2023, – (a) declared an interim dividend of Rs.6/- on Equity Shares of Rs.1/- each” financial year ending March 31, 2023; such dividend shall be paid to those members between Friday, the 3rd March, 2023 and Sunday, the 5th March, 2023. (b) Wednesday as the record date for , for the purpose of determining the entitlement of the members to such interim dividend as may be prescribed on the 15th day of February, 2023.”
The ITC board took these decisions in its board meeting held on February 3, 2023. In this board meeting, the company also announced the results for the third quarter of 2023. In its Q3FY23 results, ITC reports 21 percent growth in Q3 net profit 5,031.01 crore against a net profit of Rs. 4156.2 crore in the October to December quarter of the last financial year. The company’s revenue from operations increased by 2.3 percent 16225.1 cr to 15,862 crore in Q3FY22.

The stock traded ex-dividend on May 26, 2022 for a payment of Rs. 6.25 per equity share Final Dividend to its shareholder for the financial year 2021-22.
