New Delhi, May 30 (PTI) Government on Friday met the fiscal deficit target of 4.8 percent of the GDP for 2024-25, according to data released by the Comptroller General of accounts.
The fiscal deficit for the last financial year works for Rs 15,77,270 crore, which is similar to almost revised estimates (Rs 15,69,527 crore), which was presented to Parliament in February.
According to GDP data released earlier in the day, economic development is estimated at Rs 3,30,68,145 crore for fiscal 2024-25.
