After a delay of nearly two years, the Forest Department of Madhya Pradesh on Monday proceeded to rent the Robinson helicopter for 50 hours.
With final approval from the aviation department, forest officials are now preparing to implement the operation.
“We have received approval from the aviation department, but it will not be possible to complete the operation in May because the temperature is very high. Now we are working to work in October,” L. Krishnamurthy said, Forest (APCCF) is the main patron of wildlife.
“This is the first time that such an exercise is being carried out. We will take the vegetarian out with the help of South African experts.”
Farmers protect crops at night
According to forest officials, this step follows to increase the complaint of animals raiding fields across western Madhya Pradesh.
The farmers said that they spent their nights in the fields, turning their crops to protect their crops equipped with torch lights and sticks.
Gayan Singh Gurjar, a farmer from Setkhedi village, has presented a twice written appeal for the administration last year, through the RSS-bound Bharatiya Kisan Sangh, urging the safety for the farmers and the crops cropped on the crop.
“Our yield is reduced by about 30 percent, increasing our fields every night with examples of Nilgai and Blackbucks. They come in large herds and squat on crops, whether it is in wheat or pulses. The limit of damage is such that neither can staging can be staged.”
In -charge for the Bharatiya Kisan Sangh, Mukesh Patidar said that the examples of the raid of the crop have increased dramatically, causing the desperate farmers to be directly in conflict with these vegetarian people.
“The forest department has brought it into some special cages, but for the last few months, they are just catching dust,” the Patidar explained.
Forest officials accepted the challenge caused by the deer galloping.
“During a discussion with experts from South Africa at Kuno National Park, we learned about their method of catching them using helicopters and special fences. They agreed to help us and we saw it as a training for our employees, which can then operate the same,” a senior forest officer requested oblivion.
A team of 10 experts led by Caster Wikiri, co-founder of the conservation solution, have been planted to help the Madhya Pradesh government to help transfer the Anthelops and Blackbucks.
The decision was taken in January 2024, but in the last 18 months, the forest department faced a delay in renting a helicopter.
“In 2024, the tendering process was first affected by the Lok Sabha elections, was unavailable with many helicopters. Subsequently, another tender was canceled, before the aviation department was assigned to assist the forest officials,” the official said.
