Let me tell you, the first petition in this matter has been filed by Akhilesh Kumar, a resident of Bihar. The petition states that the notification and decision of the State of Bihar is illegal, arbitrary, irrational, unconstitutional and without authority of law. Zosterb is that the Bihar cabinet had approved the census of income in the month of June last year, attracting Rs 500 crore for it and had set a deadline of February 23 to complete the survey. Two unanimous resolutions were passed in 2018 and 2019 in favor of caste census in both houses of the Bihar Legislature.
