Rajkot: A 65-year-old woman from Veraval town in Gir-Somnath district died on Sunday on her way to Ahmedabad, where she was being brought for treatment.
Veraval police had registered a case against unknown person The following information was given by Dinesh, son of lady Sajan Lakhana.
Dinesh’s mother was alone at home when an unidentified person entered inside and hit her on the head with a sharp weapon. After this, he took off his bangles and gold chain and fled, the police said.

The victim was staying with Dinesh’s younger brother Ashok near the former’s house and was alone at home when the attack took place.
