‘The youth of Kashmir are being given a bottle of liquor instead of a job’: PDP chief Mufti targets government over unemployment

Efforts are being made to destroy horticulture in Kashmir, he said, adding that vehicles laden with apples are being stopped on the Isle National Highway for unknown reasons.

Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) President Mehbooba Mufti has targeted the LG administration and said that the government wants to give liquor bottles to the youth instead of jobs. Mufti said that liquor shops will not be allowed to open in Kashmir, voice will be raised against it and it will not be allowed to happen in Kashmir.

Mufti accused the government of deliberately harassing the youth and said that the government has failed to provide them employment. He said that people should unite and fight strongly against it.

Responding to a question on the sacking of the police, Mehbooba Mufti said that no action is taken against those involved in real corruption, but the sword has fallen on small employees.
