‘Theft anniversary’: Exactly a year after Delhi woman’s car robbed, thieves stole it again

On January 10, 2021, a woman’s car was stolen from outside her residence in Delhi. The police caught the thieves and their car was recovered shortly after. However, the same car has been stolen again, exactly a year after it was first taken away.

On January 10, 2021, Aarti Khanna’s dark gray Honda Amaze car was stolen from outside her residence in Delhi’s Mukherjee Nagar.

Fortunately, the police recovered the vehicle and it was returned in good condition.

Now exactly a year later, the same car is stolen from outside his residence. On January 9, 2022, his dark gray Honda Amaze was stolen, with the same modus operandi used last year.

Describing the strange turn of events”Theft [robbery] anniversary”, Aarti Khanna said, “Last year, two-three people came in a car, unlocked my car and took it away. This year, it was stolen again using the same method. Since everything is going as it did in the past, I hope the car will be fine like last time.”

He has lodged a complaint with Delhi Police. Police have said that the accused will be arrested soon.

Last year, when the police caught the gang of car thieves who had stolen Khanna’s car, many more stolen cars were also recovered from them.
