There is no competition, to distribute rapidly and firmly, Amazon India says VP of Operations

New Delhi: The Amazon Purti Center in Gurugram is considered the largest in North India with a place of 450,000 square feet of flooring and storage of 1.4 million cubic feet – discovering the company’s operation. Singh said that security is given priority even before speed or credibility in Amazon, Singh said; Adding that new workers starts with a security training session.

Temperature and humidity in features are tested to calculate the heat index, with plans if it becomes very unsafe.

For delivery partners, Singh said, security rules include regular vehicle inspections, ensuring that partners wear their helmets, grow rapidly with immediate alert, and participate with ambulance services. Amazon also offers the ‘Ashre’ center where the delivery partners can rest during the hot weather, Singh explained.

In India, Singh said, Amazon is working towards becoming more environmentally friendly using plastic-free packaging for shipment. Paper tape and special containers are encouraged as an alternative to plastic and other environmentally dangerous items, and many packages do not have additional rapping, they said. Singh said that measures cut on waste and make the package lighter, which reduces the requirement of diesel.

Amazon India, he said, workers from nearby villages and other states have been hired. The company also provides them with training, including safety and job skills, including choosing and packing items. The company also focuses on an inclusive environment, employs thousands of people with speeches and listening challenges, Singh said, saying that it trains managers in basic symbolic language and uses technology to help more fluent communication.

The Amazon delivery system includes supply centers, sort centers and delivery stations with ‘Smart’ Routing algorithms to faster delivery. According to Singh, the company uses various distribution methods, such as partnership with the local ‘Ray ‘ Shops through the ‘I have space’ program support small businesses with ‘delivery service partners’ program, and offer an on-demand delivery option called ‘Flex’.

Amazon believes that the Indian market has high development capacity as e-commerce is still a small part of overall shopping, Singh said. To this, he said that the company focuses on making customers happy by rather than worrying about the contestants rather than rapidly and more firmly.

He also highlighted the positive impact of Amazon as the construction of 1.5 million direct and indirect jobs, helping sellers and supporting the community by restoring mangroves and lakes. The company, Singh said, there is a plan to use water responsibly in its operation by 2027.
