These small-cap stocks are in focus on the opening of the stock market this week

Reversing the losses in Thursday’s session, the Indian stock market closed in the Green Zone on Friday. BSE Sensex rose nearly 0.10 per cent, NSE Nifty 0.21 per cent and Bank Nifty 0.09 per cent. However, the BSE Smallcap index rose 0.35 per cent on Friday. so when Share Market As Monday opens, the focus will be on the small-cap segment and three small-cap stocks – Surya Roshni, HPL Electric & Power and Mazagon Dock Shipbuilders are expected to remain on traders’ radar when the market opens on Monday. Of these three stocks, two hit the upper circuit in Friday’s session, while the third climbed to 52-week highs in Friday’s session, posting intraday gains of over 12.50 per cent.

Here we list three stocks and the reason we’re focusing on Monday:

1]Sun Lights: Small-cap stocks hit the upper circuit of 20 per cent after climbing higher on Friday 381.50 per share level (Close on NSE on Thursday) to On Friday at the level of 457.80 each. The stock has given a return of around 28 per cent in the last 5 sessions. In Friday’s session, this small-cap stock saw volumes surge over 4.70x, pushing the stock to the given upper limit. 457.80 marks. As the company has given a strong business outlook at its AGM held on 25th August 2022, the stock will remain in focus when the market opens on Monday.

2]HPL Electric & Power: This small-cap stock is one of the stocks in the Indian stock market that hit the upper circuit on Friday. The stock hit the upper circuit by 20 per cent on Friday after news of the small-cap company getting ‘panelment certificate’ from the power ministry. The certificate has been awarded to the company through its branch, Gramin Vidyut Nigam (REC). In the last 5 sessions, this smallcap stock has gained close to 20 per cent, while in the last one month, this stock has gained more than 25 per cent. Hence, the stock is expected to remain in focus as the bulls are expecting the uptrend to continue in this stock.

3]Mazagon Dock Shipbuilders: In Friday’s session, this small-cap stock hit a new 52-week high 359.55 each level on NSE. In Friday’s session, the stock saw volumes of over 4.93 times. The small-cap stock opened higher and climbed to its 52-week high. However, stock. settled on 353.70 levels, an increase of about 12.50 per cent was registered on Friday. In the last 5 sessions, the stock has gained over 16 per cent while in the last one month it has gained over 25 per cent. Hence, the stock is expected to remain in focus when the market opens this week as the bulls are expected to show interest in the shares.
