This free-to-play game beats Elden’s Ring and sold the most copies in July – Times of India

The report takes into account both retail and digital Games sales.
Although the Multiverse is a free-to-play platform fighter, its major source of success and revenue generation has been “Founders Packs”, which allow players to unlock fighters through character tickets. In addition, there are also micro-transactions in the game. And there’s no denying that its player base deserves a lot to expand.
The Multiverse dethroned Elden Ring from the top spot, though the action RPG by FromSoftware has been at the top for an entire year and has sold nearly 17 million copies since its February launch. With a story collaboration by renowned author George R.R. Martin and game director Hidetaka Miyazaki, the fantasy RPG has been a huge success.

Digimon Survive, Minecraft and F1 22 took the eighth, ninth and tenth places on the list of the top 10 best-selling games for July.
