This TVS group company declared ₹59 per share dividend, Q3 sales up 22%

Sundaram Clayton Limited (SCL) is part of the TVS Group and is a leading supplier of aluminum die castings, in the automotive and non-automotive sectors. Today, the firm announced its Q3FY23 earnings as well as 1180% dividend for the financial year ending March 31, 2023.

Sundaram Clayton Limited (SCL) informed the stock exchanges stating that “The Board of Directors of the company in its meeting held today declared an interim dividend of Rs. 59/- per share for the financial year ending 31st March 2023.” (1180%) on 2,02,32,085 Equity Shares of Rs 5/- each fully paid up, amounting to Rs 119 Crore. Declared Interim Dividend to be paid on or after February 10, 2023, to those shareholders , who hold shares in physical form and/or in electronic form and whose names appear respectively in the register of members and/or of the depository at the end of working hours on 3rd February 2023, the records prescribed by the company for the purpose the date is.”

On a consolidated basis, the company recorded revenue from operations of 8,475.43 Cr in Q3FY23 as against 6,915.62 Cr recorded in the year-ago quarter, registering a YoY growth of 22.55%. The company reported a consolidated net profit of Rs. 123.83 crore in the quarter ending December 2022 127.32 crore during the quarter ended December 2021, registering a decline of 2.74% YoY. The company’s EPS was as compared to 61.20 in Q3FY23 62.93 in Q3FY22.

On a standalone basis, Sundaram Clayton Limited (SCL) reported a net sale of Rs. 503.49 Cr in Q3FY23 as against 426.99 Cr recorded in the year-ago quarter, registering a growth of 17.91%. The company reported a standalone net profit of Rs. 34.18 Cr in Q3FY23 as against 16.36 Cr was recorded in Q3FY22, registering a YoY growth of 108.92%. Company’s EPS reached 16.89 in Q3FY23 as against 8.09 in Q3FY22.

Sundaram Clayton shares closed today on NSE 4,775.00 each level, up 0.25% from previous close 4,763.05. The stock recorded a total volume of 38,717 shares as compared to 20-day average volume of 3,547 shares.
