The National Investigation Agency (NIA) on November 5 conducted searches at several places in Bengaluru and Dakshina Kannada districts and arrested three persons. BJP Yuva Morcha worker Praveen Netru murdered,

The NIA conducted searches at five places in Dakshina Kannada, Hubli and Mysore districts in Karnataka.

Three accused were arrested for their active involvement in the ‘conspiracy’ to kill Praveen Nettaru. Identification of the accused Muhammad Iqbal, K. Ismail Shafi and Ibrahim Sha, all residents of Sulia in Dakshina Kannada district.

So far 10 people have been arrested in this case.

During the raids on Saturday, November 5, digital devices and ‘defamatory documents’ were seized from the houses of the accused and suspects.

Praveen Nettaru, a resident of Bellare in Dakshina Kannada and district secretary of BJP Yuva Morcha, was allegedly murdered by Popular Front of India (PFI) workers on July 26. A case was registered at Bellare police station. The matter was taken up by the NIA on August 4.
