At least two fire-related incidents were reported in the city with three persons sustaining burn injuries, a Fire Department official said on Saturday.
The official said, the first incident took place at 4.48 a.m. inside a factory in Bawana’s DSIIDC area. At least 17 fire tenders were pressed into action. “Due to the sudden blast, the entire building collapsed, but there were no injuries,” Delhi Fire Services chief Atul Garg said.
Meanwhile, another incident took place in central Delhi’s Lahori Gate area, where fire broke out inside a house, and five fire tenders were pressed into action. The fire was reported in a cluster of 15 electric meter boards located on the ground floor of the building. Three persons, aged 13, 18 and 30, sustained burn injuries and were rushed to the LNJP Hospital, the officer added.
