More details of the horrors perpetrated by Russian troops in Buka, Ukraine, emerge. Earlier reports confirmed that more than 400 people were tortured and killed in Buka, less than 60 km from the capital Kyiv.

India on Tuesday condemned the Buka killings and supported the demand for an independent probe into the matter. Speaking at the UN Security Council meeting, India’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations, TS Tirumurti, said that India categorically condemned these killings and supported the call for an independent investigation.
Meanwhile, the Buka murders invite a new impetus. Western sanctions on Russia, The White House said the measures would target Russian banks and officials and impose sanctions on new investment in Russia.
