Are you tired of the long check-in process at airports? Don’t worry! Now you can save your time by availing the quick check-in method at Delhi airport. Delhi International Airport Limited (DIAL) has launched the beta version of DigiYatra app on Android platform which will allow passengers to quickly check-in at Terminal 3 of Indira Gandhi International Airport.

According to a PTI report, DIAL on Monday launched this facility, under which passengers can now go through paperless and contactless processing using facial features to establish identity linked to boarding passes at various checkpoints at the airport. Will pass through

In an official statement, DIAL said, “We had set up the required facility at Terminal 3 of Delhi International Airport and had already conducted its DigiYatra trials. After using this new facility during the testing session, around 20,000 passengers were allowed to travel. It was a smooth and safe travel experience.”

These 20,000 passengers submitted their biometric and other details through kiosks at Terminal 3 for their specific flights, the statement quoted PTI as saying.

Thereafter, he will have to submit his biometrics and other details through this app, which will be stored for all the flights through which he will travel at Terminal 3 of the Delhi airport. They are not required to submit all these details before every flight. at Terminal 3.

DIAL said that the beta version of the DigiYatra app has been made available on the Android platform and will be available on iOS in a few weeks. This application will be used by the passengers themselves to do their complete biometric registration for traveling through flights.

Once the passenger downloads the app, he has to enter his phone number and Aadhaar card details, then take a selfie, add vaccination details and scan the boarding pass.
