According to Fox News, the 35-year-old actor admitted that there was “a spark” between him and the 32-year-old in his new memoir, “Beyond the Wand: The Magic and Mayhem of Growing Up a Wizard.” by The Evening Standard.
“I loved and admired him as a person in a way I could never explain to anyone else,” he said in a Fox News report.
As Fox News reports, she recalled meeting Watson at an audition for the first time when he was 11 and she was 9. Felton wrote that Watson pointed to the boom microphone and asked him, “What is that?” To which he replied, “That means they are recording us, obviously.”
“My relationship with Emma didn’t go off well,” Felton admitted. “She must have been forgiven for not working with me much. It’s gotten worse.”

The “The Flash” star recalled an incident in which he and other cast members made fun of Watson during a lunchtime dance routine.
He said his colleagues were “presumably dismissive”. They laughed on the way down for her show, Felton said, and it only intensified during her dance.

“But I loved and admired him as a person in a way that I could never explain to anyone else… we were kind souls.”
