Taking to Twitter, Sukhbir Singh Badal said, “Disturbing media reports quoting co-passengers say Punjab CM @BhagwantMann was kicked off a Lufthansa flight because he was too drunk to walk ..and due to this the flight was delayed by 4 hours. He missed the national convention of AAP.”
Sukhbir Singh Badal said, “These reports have embarrassed and shamed Punjabis across the world.”
Seeking an answer on the incident related to Bhagwant Mann in a Lufthansa flight in Frankfurt, Germany, Sukhbir Singh Badal said that the Punjab government should come clean on the issues. The Siromani Akali Dal president also demanded that the central government should take up the issue with the German government.
“PB [Punjab] Govt is silent on these reports involving their CM @Bhagwant Mann. @ArvindKejriwal should clarify on this issue. Government of India should step in as it involves Punjabi and national pride.
