Top Gun Maverick Box Office Collection: Tom Cruise’s film has been successful in breaking many records at the worldwide box office. From breaking a record-breaking top opener for Johnny Depp’s 2007 action film Pirates of the Caribbean: At World’s End to giving the actor his best opening weekend in his three-decade-long career, Top Gun Maverick has proved to be a spectacle. It is now on track to set another record for Tom Cruise, credited with the biggest domestic earnings. The film has become a huge success at the box office as it has crossed Rs 2300 crores and is not getting close to collecting Rs 2500 crores globally. In India, the film clashed with Ayushmann Khurrana’s Many, as they both released on 27 May. It also faced stiff competition from Kartik Aaryan’s horror-comedy Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2, which went on to become a superhit. The film is eyeing a lifetime total of Rs 30 crore in India.
