1. BJP’s Karnataka in-charge Arun Singh will reach North Karnataka today before Union Minister Amit Shah’s program to be held tomorrow. Mr. Singh and other leaders will meet in Belagavi at 4 pm to review preparations for Mr. Shah’s visit to Belagavi on January 28 and Raita Morcha’s executive meeting on January 29.

3. In view of the commissioning works of the extension line from Kengeri to Challaghatta, Metro train services on Purple Line between Mysuru Road and Kengeri stations will remain suspended for four days from today. Services will resume from 5 am on January 31.

4. Social Welfare Department, Karnataka Residential Educational Institutions Association and Minorities Welfare Department are jointly organizing a science fair. Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai inaugurated the program at 9.30 am near Tripuravasini, Palace Ground, Mahakari Vatta.

5. AIMS Institute and NAVIS Group, Japan are signing an MoU at a function organized by AIMS at its campus in Peenya, in the presence of Consul General of Japan, Katsumasa Maruo.

6. BNM Institute of Technology is organizing IEEE International Conference on Intelligent and Innovative Technologies in Computing, Electrical and Electronics. Dr. Aloknath Dey, Chair-IEEE Bangalore Section, Adjunct Professor, IISc. and IIT-J will be the chief guests. The program will be held at BNMIT Campus Banashankari II Phase from 10 am.
