1. The Nephrology Association of Karnataka, in collaboration with the State Organ and Tissue Transplant Organization of Karnataka, will organize a seminar on the topic ‘Religious views on organ donation after brain death’. This was followed by Justice Santosh Hegde, former Supreme Court Judge and former Lokayukta of Karnataka, Dr. Devi Prasad Shetty, Founder and Chairman of Narayana Health, Shivarudra Swamiji of Belimath, St. Joseph’s University Vice Chancellor Ref. 2. To mark its 25th year celebrations, the Center for Budget and Policy Studies is hosting a two-day conference titled Institutions and Public Policy, starting today. The keynote address will be delivered by Aruna Roy, social activist and founder member of Mazdoor Kisan Shakti Sangathan. The inaugural session of the two-day program will take place from 9.30 am at JRD Tata Auditorium, NIAS Gate, IISc Campus.
