Here are the major news developments from Telangana to watch for today:
1. Chief Minister K. Chandrashekhar Rao will inaugurate the Integrated District Office Complex, TRS office and address a public meeting at Peddapalli.
2. The State Health University has issued notification to accommodate 300 students of MBBS 1st year in two medical colleges whose permission was canceled by the National Medical Commission. They will be accommodated on the basis of additional seats in the empaneled 13 private medical colleges.
3. Teacher recruitment is unlikely this year though thousands of vacancies are to be filled. The government has so far not shown any initiative to conduct the teacher recruitment test as the transfer and promotion of the existing employees is yet to be taken up to reach the actual vacancy position.
