Hyderabad:
Traffic jams and water-logging were reported at many places in Hyderabad on Wednesday evening following heavy rains.
According to official data, Macha Bolarum in Alwal received 91.9 mm of rain, followed by LB Nagar (84.3 mm), Dabeerpura (77.5 mm) near Charminar and Mylardevpalli (71.3 mm) from 8.30 am to 8 pm.
The India Meteorological Department (IMD) Meteorological Center said that heavy rains occurred at isolated places in Jang and Narayanpet districts of Telangana.
In a weather alert, it said heavy to very heavy rainfall is very likely at isolated places over Adilabad, Komram Bheem, Asifabad, Mancherial and other districts on September 8.
It also said that there is a possibility of heavy rain at isolated places over Khammam, Nalgonda, Suryapet and other districts.
