Travel Vlogger throws light on the challenges of traveling with Indian passport, spark of debate

A journey has been discussed online by a journey after highlighting the challenges of traveling with Indian passports. Content creator, known as Road Indian on Instagram, shares a video stating that he often faces issues and is seen with disbelief abroad. He also claimed that he was denied entry into several countries. “This thing that I have has no value,” he said in the clip pointing to his Indian passport. He said, “Think happy about Thailand, Malaysia, Sri Lanka. Our passports do not use any in difficult countries,” he said.

Vlogger, while supporting his opinion, said that he was unable to visit Jordan only due to visa -related issues. He said, “Every Jagah entry refused (refused everywhere). Many countries are leaving visa-free and visa-on-back facilities for us,” he said. “Abhi Jordan, after seeing the Indian passport, the entry refused to Kar Dia (in Jordan, just saw an Indian passport and deprived of admission). The country like Egypt wants an invitation letter,” he continued.

In addition, the material manufacturer mentioned that even in China, Indian passport holders are allowed to allow a 24-hour visa-free transit, while citizens of other nations can get it for 10 days.

“They are only fascinated by the names of Amitabh Bachchan and Shah Rukh Khan. But when it comes to the documents, they trust us anytime. I have money. I have all the documents. My journey history is very good. And yet, when they see my passport, they check me. Sometimes they refuse to enter,” they complained.

According to the Henley Passport Index 2025, in particular, India’s passport ranks 85th in the world’s most powerful passport list.

Many Instagram users agreed with the material manufacturer and expressed their dissatisfaction in the comment section. However, some users feel that Indian tourists probably get such a “bad treatment” due to their “rude behavior”.

One user wrote, “Bitter truth!

“This is probably because some of us behave, they were in a country and they hated Indians, and when I was returning to India, I came to know why in the airport, why chaos and Dadagiri OMG were so entitled to this IDK,” expressed another.

“We are not worth it because of our rude behavior,” a user commented.
