Chief Minister N. Rangasamy led the observance of “Anti-Terrorism Day” on Sunday to mark the death anniversary of former Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi.
The Chief Minister paid tribute by garlanding the statue of the leader.
He also administered the anti-terrorism day pledge.
PWD Minister K. Lakshminarayanan, Government Whip V. Araumaugame, U. Laxmikant, R. Baskar, MLA. Chief Secretary Rajeev Verma, Manoj Kumar Lal, Director General of Police and others participated.
The celebration was made memorable with the presentation of interfaith prayers and patriotic songs by the teachers of Jawahar Bal Bhavan.
