Exclusive gentlemen’s rides are organized in India every year, except for the last two years.

Triumph Motorcycles will continue as a core partner and supporter of Distinguished Gentleman’s ride for five more years, after supporting the charity motorcycle fundraiser since 2014. The iconic Gentleman’s Ride, or DGR, as it is also known, was initially established to raise both funds and awareness for prostate cancer research and men’s mental health. The DGR has become an iconic and stylish global event on the motorcycle charity calendar, uniting classic and vintage bike riders from around the world in a one-day event each year.

In 2014, DGR raised a total of $1.5 million, taking place in 58 countries, with approximately 20,000 riders willing to participate in the event. In 2019, with 1,16,000 riders participating in 104 countries, the event went on to raise a record-breaking $6 million. As a principal sponsor of DGR since 2014, Triumph Motorcycles has supported DGR founder Mike Hawa and his team to help develop DGR into the global event it is today.

“When we first partnered with Triumph Motorcycles in 2014, I was incredibly excited. They are the only motorcycle manufacturer I felt completely fit in with The Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride. We have done some amazing things since then. Together we are able to reward some of our top and most dedicated fundraisers with brand new bikes from the Modern Classic range and custom one-of-one 2021 Triumph Thruxton ₹ today, 8 years after we see the 5 year continuation of this partnership I was even more excited than I was in 2014, because with the next 5 years on, I know we’ll be doing even more with the goal of raising funds and raising men’s health awareness. Can,” said Mike Hava, Founder/Director of Rides Distinctive Gentlemen.

The 2020 COVID-19 pandemic posed a challenge to organize a group ride event that is DGR. Despite the difficulties and challenges, DGR developed a new format that made it possible for riders to show their support and passion safely with the Ride Solo Together event. The DGR community achieved its most global event ever in 2021, with 171 countries and 2,531 venues riding solo together, all connected together via social media.
