China’s Foreign Ministry said on Monday that China said that the US is trying to deprive it of development rights and maintain its supremacy.
Spokesman Mao Ning made the comments in response to a question on TikTok potentially being a target in an upcoming US bill banning certain foreign technology.
Senator Mark Warner said on Sunday that two US senators plan to introduce legislation this week aimed at letting the government “restrict or prohibit” foreign technology products such as Chinese-owned TikTok.
