Amritsar, With a view to encourage the budding technocrats with the latest developments in technical know-how in the field of Information and communications technology (ICT), local Spring Dale Senior School organized an inter-school IT FESTIVAL In which 53 students from 12 schools participated on Monday.

The event included competitions like Powerpoint Presentation, Excel Proficiency, Photoshop, Webpage Development and Quiz etc.
A team from Cambridge International School emerged as the winner in Quizholic, Moving Pictures, Game of Code and Pixel Art, a team from DAV International School won Debug Your Soul, while Web War and B-Conscis categories won. Khalsa College International Public School and Bright Land School respectively.

Speaking on the occasion, Rajeev Kumar Sharma, Principal, Spring Dale Senior School said that it was an extremely enriching experience for all the participants. He said that the IT Utsav was an annual feature of the school, which was organized with an aim to keep the students updated with the progress in the field of IT.
Meanwhile, Archita Mittal, an alumnus of the school who secured 180 rank in the Civil Services Examination, visits the school.
“Her success story started with the school she had to drop out because of her father’s transfer,” said the principal.
