Twitch tests new way to let users discover channels

San Francisco: Streaming platform Twitch is testing a new channel surfing feature — Channel Switcher — that lets users easily flip through previews of a bunch of different streams to help them find something to watch. And, you will not see ads while using. This, reports The Verge. Reportedly, Channel Switcher looks like it will be a faster way to watch many different streamers.

According to Twitch spokesperson Ashton Williams, users will be able to see a 60-second preview of a stream before deciding to click through or watch another channel.

Williams said that “only a small percentage of users who are currently logged in” have access, and those who do get it have been chosen at random.

The company also announced new features, including a new tool that makes it easier for streamers to add guests to their streams called Guest Stars, and the ability to create their own tags.
