After nearly two years of getting into audio with Space, a live voice-based chat room, Twitter adding now podcast for the app, and it is a part of the newly designed empty space tab.
How will podcasts appear on Twitter?
The Revised Spaces tab opens an individual hub, known as a “station”, grouping audio content, bringing together Spaces and podcasts under one roof, covering a variety of topics such as news, music, sports. And a lot is based on that. Twitter’s algorithm will only recommend content based on topics and people, showing users a personalized curation of live and pre-recorded space sessions and podcasts from around the world.
Give it a “thumbs up” if you think the podcast you’re listening to is good enough for your time, or you can “thumbs down” if you think it’s a waste of your time. . Twitter says this will help it create a more customized experience.
What does the new Spaces tab look like?
Twitter’s new Spaces tab will now show users three sections; there will be K station At the top, and if you scroll horizontally, you’ll find stations curated around a variety of themes. Below the stations is Space Spotlight, showing some of the hot discussions happening right now, followed by a list of upcoming Space.
Starting today, a select number of English-speaking Twitter users around the world will have access to the revamped Spaces tab on both. iOS And Android version of the app.
Twitter says it conducted an internal study showing that 45% of Twitter users in the United States also listen to podcasts every month. So, it thought of serving podcasts on its app, to make things easier for its users, the company says.
