Unable to overcome the grief of losing their mother in October last year, two men allegedly ended their lives at Rampalli Dayara village under Kesar police limits on the outskirts of the city on Wednesday.
Police said 30-year-old Yadi Reddy and 28-year-old Mahipal Reddy, both music teachers at a school in Gandipet, left a note informing their decision.
Neighbors in Rampalli Dayara village alerted his father, Mettu Srinu Reddy, around 4 pm, as neither of them was answering the phone or the doorbell. Upon forcibly opening the door, two men were found dead – one on a bed with an unidentified chemical bottle next to him and the other hanging.
Police said a note purportedly written by the duo was recovered from the spot. “There is no one to take care of us, we are missing our mother. No one is responsible for our death,” an official said while reading the note.
