Two people were killed and two others injured in an accident at a firecracker unit in Tamil Nadu’s Virudhunagar district and Chief Minister MK Stalin on Sunday ordered a compensation of Rs 3 lakh each to the families of the deceased workers.

Two workers were killed in a sudden explosion and fire at a firecracker factory in Nattaramangalam village of Virudhunagar district on Saturday night.

Expressing his condolences to the bereaved families and expressing grief, Mr Stalin ordered a compensation of Rs three lakh each to the families of two workers, Arumugam and Kubendran, who died in the accident, an official release said. Gave.

The Chief Minister ordered ‘best treatment’ to the two injured workers in a government facility. In addition, Mr Stalin announced an assistance of Rs 1 lakh to Devendran, one of the two workers, who was seriously injured and is being treated at a government hospital in Madurai.
