In the U19 World Cup final, England won the toss and decided to bat first. However, he had a poor start as Ravi Kumar played with the new ball. Indian pacer Jacob Bethel and captain Tom Purst gave India an early lead in the first few overs.
Raj Bawa then stepped into the center to keep India firmly under control.
England bounced back with a brilliant innings of 95 from James Ray, but they kept on losing wickets at regular intervals. In the end, the Englishman managed to reach a sub-par of 189 all out in 44.5 overs.
Raj Bawa took five wickets while Ravi Kumar took four.

In reply, India lost Angkrish Raghuvanshi in the very first over. Shaik Rashid (50) and Harnoor Singh (21) stabilized the ship with a partnership of 49 runs. Captain Yash Dhul, who scored a century in the semi-final against Australia, fell for 17 runs.
But Nishant Sindhu (50 not out) and Raj Bawa (35) ensured there was no way back for England. Dinesh Bana finished things in style with a six as India chased down the target with 14 balls to spare.
