The National Testing Agency (NTA) has issued the advanced exam city intimation slips for the UGC NET examination scheduled on June 26 and June 27, 2025. Candidates appearing for the University Grants Commission National Eligibility Test can download these slips from the official website, ugcnet.nta.ac.in. To download the exam city slips, candidates need to enter their Application Number and Date of Birth.
“The NTA is now displaying the Advance Intimation for Allotment of Examination City for UGC – NET June 2025 to be conducted on 26th June 2025 & 27th June 2025,” reads the official notice.
NTA had released the UGC NET exam city slips for the June 25 examination on Friday.
It is important to note that the exam city slip should not be mistaken for the Admit Card. The purpose of the exam city slip is to provide candidates with advance information about the city where their examination centre will be located. The UGC NET Admit Card 2025 will be issued at a later date.
How To Download UGC NET Admit Card 2025, City Intimation Slip?
Step 1 – Visit the official website of UGC NET — ugcnet.nta.ac.in.
Step 2 – On the homepage, click on the UGC NET June 2025 City Intimation Slip link
Step 3 – Enter your application number, date of birth and the security pin.
Step 4 – The city slip will appear on the screen.
Step 5 – Download it and take a print out for future use.

The UGC NET June 2025 exam is scheduled to be held from June 25 to June 29, 2025. The examination will be conducted in two shifts: the first shift from 9 am to 12 noon, and the second shift from 3 pm to 6 pm.
UGC NET 2025 Exam Pattern
The UGC NET exam lasts for three hours and consists of 150 multiple-choice questions divided into two papers. The question papers will comprise two sections, both consisting of objective-type, multiple-choice questions. Paper 1 includes 50 questions worth 100 marks, assessing general skills such as awareness, reading comprehension, reasoning, research aptitude, and teaching ability. Paper 2 focuses on the candidate’s chosen subject, featuring 100 questions worth 200 marks.
