Challenges submitted by candidates will be reviewed by a panel of subject experts. If a candidate’s challenge is deemed valid, the Answer Key will be updated and applied to all candidates’ responses. The results will then be prepared and announced based on the revised Final Answer Key. Individual candidates will not be notified regarding the acceptance or rejection of their challenges. The finalized key established by the experts will be considered final.

What Is UGC NET 2024 Marking Scheme?

The marking scheme for UGC NET 2024 is as follows:

(1) Each question carries two marks.

(2) For each correct response, a candidate will get two marks.

(c) There is no negative marking for incorrect response.

(d) No marks will be given for questions un-answered/un-attempted/marked for Review.

(e) To answer a question, the candidate needs to choose one option as correct option.

(f) If a question is found to be incorrect/ambiguous or has multiple correct answers, only those candidates who have attempted the question and chosen one of the correct answers would be given the credit.

(g) If a question is found to be incorrect and the Question is dropped, then two marks will be awarded to only to those candidates who have attempted the question. The reason could be due to human error or technical error. Since there is no negative marking, the candidate needs to choose one most the nearest options as the correct answer.

Step 1: Visit ugcnet.nta.ac.in, the official NTA UGC NET website.

Step 2: Locate and click on the UGC NET June candidate login section.

Step 3: To access your results, enter the candidate credentials, which include your birthdate and application number.

Step 4: View and download your UGC NET results by going to the results tab after logging in.

Step 5: Get a copy of the UGC NET results for your records.
