Union minister Dharmendra Pradhan is BJP’s in-charge for Karnataka elections

The BJP on Saturday appointed Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan as its in-charge for the upcoming Karnataka Assembly elections. The party gave this information in a statement.

Tamil Nadu BJP unit president K Annamalai will be co-in-charge for the high-stakes polls, where both the ruling party and the opposition Congress have launched intensive public outreach in the run-up to the April-May polls.

The party’s veteran organization person Dharmendra Pradhan has been tasked with handling several elections in the past as well.

As a skilled politician, he would be expected to organize the state organization while sorting out internal issues in the local unit to maximize efforts to retain power in the crucial southern state.
