An unidentified man allegedly attempted to murder a 50-year-old priest at Isukathota under MVP police station area here on Sunday. According to MVP police, some miscreants stabbed the priest Kamaladhar Shastri with a knife. The injured person was taken to the hospital, where he is undergoing treatment. The condition of the priest is said to be stable. MVP police have registered a case and started investigation. Search is on to nab the accused.
