A sheriff’s office in the United States recently launched a spoof dating site for cats and dogs called “Tender”.
going to FacebookThe Brevard County Sheriff’s Office in , Florida, announced the site as a method of matching adorable pets with their “Fever Home.” According to the caption, Sheriff Wayne Ivey came up with the idea with the help of K-9 Juni, the department’s police dog.
The announcement for the site read, “You’ll just want to swipe right when you see these adoptable cuties.”
In the caption, officials said that every week a homeless dog or cat at the Brevard County Sheriff’s Office Animal Care Center would be put in the spotlight for potential families to “swipe right.” “This site is actually designed to find “furver homes” for Juni’s homeless friends, officials said.

“Juni’s Tender Site’ is designed to find tender, loving and caring homes for the dogs and cats at our Animal Care Center who have been with our team for an extended period of time!!,” declares read. “Knowing that every pet deserves to be ‘Fuver Home’, Junie decided to launch ‘Junie’s Tender Site’ so that she could post a new profile picture every Saturday of one of her friends, who Will almost guarantee a perfect match for a new pet and owner!!” added this.
Since being shared, thousands of people have liked the post and praised the new “tender” initiative. One user wrote, “It’s so cool that all animals deserve a forever home. Thank you!” Another added, “What a great idea to reach out to the community.” “How wonderful… praying for success for the unattainable, unwanted and all voiceless beings,” added a third.

“Tender” is not a real app on the smartphone. The sheriff’s office will be posting profile pictures of dogs and cats every week that will “make you ‘swipe right'”, the caption of the post read. It also says that weekly social media posts will tell you everything you need to know to head to the animal center and find your “fever date.”
